On April 14, a delegation from the Macau Fujian Fellow Townsmen Association visited Fujian Normal University (FNU). The delegation was led by Lin Yangyang, Deputy President of the Macau Fujian Association; Zhu Delin, Associate Vice President of City University of Macau; and Wang Zhong, Deputy Dean of the Humanities and Social Sciences at City University of Macau and Executive Director of the Cross-Strait Cultural Research and Exchange Center.
FNU hosted a symposium to welcome the delegation, which was attended by Chen Xiaohong, Deputy Party Secretary of FNU, along with leaders from various departments and institutes, including the United Front Work Department, School of Communication, School of Physical Education and Sport Science, School of International Education, Fujian-Taiwan Regional Research Center, and Fujian Institute of Aesthetic Education.
During the symposium, both sides engaged in fruitful discussions focused on several key areas:
Advancing Cultural Exchanges with Taiwan
Fostering Youth Talent Cultivation, Enhancing Media Talent Cultivation,
Exploring Collaborative Innovation in Aesthetic Education Models.
Beyond the symposium, the delegation’s visit to Fuzhou included several other activities:
Visiting the Fujian-Taiwan Regional Research Center and the School of Communication's History Museum.
Holding Meetings with Fujian Provincial Taiwan Compatriots Federation and Fujian Provincial Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang.
